Processor Price in Bangladesh in 2024
Processor or Central Processing Unit (CPU) are one of the core components of a computer. Apart from computers it is available for phones, smart electronics devices. The CPU design has changed but the mechanism remains the same as before.
What is a Processor or CPU?
Simply a processor is an integrated circuit board that runs a computer through performing arithmetic, input/output, logical and other operations. It uses the Operating system to pass the instruction. Most processes are dependent on processors therefore it is also called the brain of the computer. It’s known as the Central Processing unit (CPU) too.
Processor Core & Thread
Processor cores refers to the individual processing units with a computer Central Processing Unit (CPU). The core of the processor receives instruction from a single computing task & it works with clock speed that results in processing the information and store in the RAM.
Processor thread is nothing but a virtual version of a CPU core.
Processor Socket
Processor socket is a physical connection between a computer processor and a motherboard. A CPU socket contains a series of pins which connect the processor to the motherboard.
Do most of the processors have built in graphics?
The straight answer is no. Not every processor contains built in graphics. Therefore you should always check it out before you buy a processor. Some of the CPUs with integrated graphics are AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, Ryzen 7 5700G, Intel i5-11400, Core i7-11700 etc.
What is Thread in a Processor?
A processor thread is a virtual version of a CPU core. It divides the physical core of the Central Processing into virtual multiple cores.
Which processor is better: AMD or Intel?
Between the AMD and Intel processors there are various aspects to keep in mind while selecting the right choice for you. Like, performance, clock speed, build in graphics, clock speed, pricing and so on. We shall not go for the technical discussion rather clarify which is better to choose according to your need.
Intel:
Intel refers to “Integrated Electronics” which CPU performance is good and most of the intel processors come with iGPU. The clock speed is higher than the AMD processor. It costs high power consumption and battery life. If you are not a heavy user then using a single core processor laptop can be used without battery issues.
In the case of a desktop if you would like to change processor or motherboard then you have fewer options compared to the AMD processor. This is because Intel changes the motherboard and chipset frequently.
AMD:
AMD full for are Advanced Micro Devices. Compared to Intel processors AMD are quite cheaper at the similar range. Also AMD APUs contain good iGPU that ensure good performance compared to core i series. AMD Ryzen series processors are quite lower clock speed than Intel based laptops. Higher iGPU performance & longer battery life in that case AMD Ryzen processor can be used for better performance.
How to choose a perfect desktop processor in Bangladesh?
Choosing a CPU depends on various aspects. Let’s say you are a normal user to perform basic tasks like browsing, using Microsoft office excel etc. In these cases you don’t need a high performance processor. Using a basic entry level processor basic laptop you can proceed with your day to day task. You can build your own pc using that model processor. But if you work with high end graphics then you should choose a mid-range to high range processor. Such as Intel core i3 10100 or Ryzen 3300 can be a starter choice for graphics work or video editing. But if you want more clock speed then you should choose an Intel processor.
